Common questions
Free locum induction pack builder →
Is the agreement free to use?
Yes. Any practice can use it, whether or not you book locums through FindALocum.
Does FindALocum see what I type?
No. The agreement is put together in your browser. Nothing you enter is sent to us or stored, so download or print your copy before you leave the page.
Should a solicitor check it?
The builder covers the points most locum agreements include. For anything unusual, such as a long placement, a locum working through a company or terms you have negotiated, take advice before you rely on it.
What if the locum has their own terms?
Many locums do. Compare the two and agree in writing which one applies. This agreement says a locum’s own terms apply only where both sides agree that.
Can I change the wording?
Yes. Download the Word version and edit anything you need. Both sides should sign the final version.
Who signs it?
Someone with authority to sign for the practice, such as a partner or the practice manager, and the locum.
Need a locum to go with it?
