Locum recruitment for general practice.
We help GP practices and primary care networks request locum GPs, clinical pharmacists, pharmacy technicians and practice nurses. Locums can register for work that fits their experience and availability.
How we work
Send us the role, dates and work required. GPs, pharmacists, pharmacy technicians and practice nurses can register their experience, availability and preferred working arrangements, and we review each enquiry against the availability we have.
We introduce locums to hiring practices and organisations. The hiring organisation contracts with and pays the locum directly; FindALocum charges the organisation a separate booking fee.
General practice enquiries can be for on-site, remote or hybrid work, depending on the duties and support available. Before work is agreed, the practice and locum need to confirm the role, hours, pay, systems, support and any attendance requirements.
What it costs
The hiring organisation pays a booking fee of £19.99 + VAT per locum, per booked calendar day worked, including part-days. The same fee applies to GPs, pharmacists, pharmacy technicians and practice nurses. VAT is additional when applicable. Locum pay and agreed expenses are paid directly by the hiring organisation. There is no monthly subscription, and registration is free for all four professions.
Community and hospital pharmacy
We also take pharmacist and pharmacy technician enquiries for community pharmacy and hospital teams. Each setting has its own experience, induction and competence requirements, so describe the specific work and we can assess the request properly.
