About the role
As our Customer Support Administrator, you’ll be the person locums and practices hear from when they need help, whether that’s signing in, posting a shift, finding a booking or paying an invoice.
Hannah, our website chat assistant, answers common questions straight away and passes the rest to the team. You’ll pick up those handovers, reply to support requests and messages, and keep people updated until their question is resolved. You’ll work closely with the Recruitment & Operations Manager.
What you’ll do
- Answer support requests, website messages and chat handovers by email and phone.
- Help locums and practices with accounts, sign-in, profiles, shifts and bookings.
- Answer questions about booking fees and invoices, and pass payment issues to the right person.
- Log every request in our admin portal and follow it through to a clear answer.
- Spot repeated questions and suggest improvements to our help pages and processes.
- Pass complaints and concerns to the Recruitment & Operations Manager promptly.
- Help with general office administration when the support queue is quiet.
What you’ll bring
- Experience in customer service, support or administration.
- Clear, friendly written English and a good phone manner.
- Patience with people who are busy or frustrated.
- Confidence using online systems, and the ability to learn new ones quickly.
- Good organisation, so that many open requests keep moving.
Useful but not essential
- Experience supporting the users of a website or app.
- Experience in healthcare, recruitment or a booking service.
- Experience with a helpdesk or ticketing system.
